ABOUT - ENTERTAINMENT AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Welcome to my entertainment autobiography!  It's a really long and detailed, "About" page.

I'm thoroughly enjoying writing it (yes, it's a work in progress), although I acknowledge it's somewhat self-indulgent - and maybe no-one will ever read past this screen (or paragraph - come on, just 1 more)?

But that's ok, because perhaps my Search Engine Optimisation will receive an enormous boost from the multitude of hyperlinks I intend to add to the names of famous artists, events and happenings that feature in my numerous stories.

Although it's a chronicle of my career in music and entertainment, I occasionally touch upon personal events to answer common questions, like "When did you learn to play piano?" Otherwise, I steer clear of my personal life; that'd be a novel - and could be awkward.

You'll (eventually) see photos and newspaper clips, old and new - and find lots of stories about great people, amazing times and crazy experiences.  And although my stories are often comical, there are some too of disappointment and disillusionment (bummer).

You'll discover I've played thousands of gigs in hundreds of venues, in lots of different situations (i.e. Solo, Duos, Bands and Shows).

I also wrote, recorded and managed, but in 1995, after 15 years in the entertainment business, I decided to take a break.  Fortunately, it turned out to only be a short, 28-year break, and I'm again a musician and entertainer, who now also finds himself a show producer and promoter.

I hope you'll find my entertainment autobiography - entertaining!

Cheers,

Geoff
