Veteran crime-reporter, Mark "Moz" Morri and piano-man, Geoff B Good hang out at Bar Gangland and reminisce about the old days in Sydney, where gangsters, coppers and everyday people, sang-along and partied together - cause that's how it really was!

 

It was in dingy bars all over the city that I met some of the best-known cops and crooks of the era, and back then it was pretty hard to tell the difference between the two.  Geoff worked for, and played to, some very interesting people.  I got so many great stories from the odd gangsters I'd meet, as I sipped my beer and listened to my mate belt out a few classics.  Cheers, Moz

Maybe you want to ask Moz about death threats and murders.  Perhaps the murder of Anita Cobby - one of the most famous and horrendous killings in Australian history.  Moz wrote the best-seller.

 

He's also covered some of the bloodiest massacres in Australia's history including the Father's Day massacre at the Viking Tavern and Port Arthur.  As a Bondi local, Moz arrived by chance at the scene of the 2025 Bondi Beach massacre minutes after the shooting.  Ask him how he wandered into the massacre.

 

Moz might remind you, "Don't shoot Geoff, he's only the piano-player" and Geoff might reminds Moz, "If it wasn't for me introducing you to my former-employers and certain patrons - you'd be nothing."  Moz might retort, "I would've met them anyway".
